Bank of America Corp. said Thursday that it issued $1.5 billion in 10-year notes.
The 5.875 percent notes mature Jan. 5, 2021, the company said. A representative for the bank, based in Charlotte, N.C., could not immediately provide the pricing for the notes.
The lead underwriter was Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Inc.
The issuance was not immediately filed with the Securities & Exchange Commission.
Shares of Bank of America were up 6 cents at $12.58 in extended trading, after closing up 23 cents at $12.52.
