Demorest Law Firm, PLLC, which has offices located in Birmingham and Dearborn, MI, welcomes Matthew S. Ehrlich as an associate. Mr. Ehrlich originally joined the firm in 2009 as a law clerk and was recently made an associate after being admitted to practice.
Mr. Ehrlich graduated with honors from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 2006. Mr. Ehrlich also attended Wayne State University Law School and graduated cum laude in 2010. Additionally, Mr. Ehrlich was elected to the Order of the Coif, which is an honor society that only the top ten percent of law school students are eligible for.
Before joining the Demorest Law Firm, PLLC, Mr. Ehrlich completed an internship with Chief Justice Marilyn Kelly of the Michigan Supreme Court. In law school, he was the senior articles and assistant editor of The Wayne Law Review. Mr. Ehrlich is currently involved in volunteer work with DECA, which is a non-profit organization that “prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.” He also volunteers for the Michigan Chapter of the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Association.
