May 19, 2008 - Leading Fathers’ Rights Attorney and Author Jeffery M. Leving will lecture at the prestigious “10th Annual International Fatherhood Conference” on June 13, 2008 at 10:30 am in Washington, DC at the Gallaudet University Kellogg Conference Hotel. Leving will be available after his lecture to autograph his new book Divorce Wars.
This year’s conference is entitled “Reconnecting Fathers to Families: At Home & Abroad.”
The three-day event begins June 10th and includes a job fair, workshops, lectures, luncheon, and networking. The finale to the conference is a segment entitled “Passing the Torch of Responsible Fatherhood & Families Work to the Next Generation,” where Leving will lecture and deliver expert advice on Responsible Fatherhood and the importance of Parent Involvement.
The educational panel and lecture begins at 10:30 am June 13th.
Jeffery M. Leving, J.D. helped reunite Elian Gonzalez with his father Juan Miguel Gonzalez in Cuba. He has gained wide recognition for his work representing fathers in contested custody and other complex family law cases across the nation. Mr. Leving, named one of “America’s Best Lawyers” by Forbes Radio, is the author of two groundbreaking books, Fathers’ Rights, and Divorce Wars. His past experience includes co-authorship of the Illinois Joint Custody Law and testimony before both branches of the Illinois Legislature on Joint Custody, Grandparent’s Visitation and Child Support Accountability bills. Mr. Leving has appeared as a legal expert on CNN, CNBC, MSNBC, Fox National News and Court TV. Additionally, Governor Blagojevich appointed Mr. Leving as chairman for the Illinois Council on Responsible Fatherhood.
