The San Francisco murder suspect at the center of a national immigration debate is reiterating his not guilty plea.
 
Juan Francisco Lopez-Sanchez was required to be arraigned again Friday after a judge ordered him to stand trial on second-degree murder. Lopez-Sanchez had previously pleaded not guilty soon after his July 2 arrest in San Francisco.

Lopez-Sanchez is charged with killing 32-year-old Kate Steinle as she walked with her father on a San Francisco pedestrian pier. Lopez-Sanchez admits to shooting Steinle, but says he found the gun and it accidentally fired when he picked it up.

Lopez-Sanchez has been deported five times and was wanted for a sixth deportation when Steinle was shot and killed.
