Slovakia has produced a commemorative coin bearing the face of
prominent Chicago fathers’ rights attorney Jeffery Leving with an engraved
message that reads: “Leading Fathers to Equality” in its native tongue. The coin was minted and released in 2007.
“I am honored that Slovakia and its residents abroad and in America have acknowledged the importance of fatherhood by promoting fathers’ rights,” said Jeffery Leving. Fathers across the world face challenges in the courts and media and this coin demonstrates that fathers and men are crucial in the lives of their children.”
Slovakia is bordered by Poland to the north, Hungary to the south, Czech Republic to the west and the Ukraine to the east. Following the breakup of the former Czechoslovakia, Slovakia obtained its independence on January 1, 1993.
